MACINTYRES IS A HIDDEN GEM JUST WAITING TO BE DISCOVERED

Macintyres is an exclusive Membership Club. Our mission is to bring you high quality jewellery, watches, the latest brands and gifts at approximately half the high street price.

We have Scotland’s largest jewellery showroom with thousands of dazzling items, from simple silver earrings to the most gorgeous engagement rings. Best of all, membership is FREE.

Macintyres is different from other online and high street jewellers. We cut costs, not quality. We bypass the middlemen and make our own range of jewellery from gemstones obtained by our buyers from source; and we strike the best deals with other brands to bring you superb value for money every time.

Macintyres of Edinburgh Showroom

Specialising in diamond jewellery, our award-winning gemmologists and highly experienced staff will guide you towards the perfect choice. Our diamond dome allows our precious gemstones and diamonds to be viewed in natural daylight, letting the true beauty of the stones shine through without relying on enhancement from spotlights – so in Macintyres your diamond looks just as fabulous when you leave the showroom as it did when you picked it.

We also offer a state-of-the-art bespoke design service, valuations, insurance claims and repairs.

OUR SHOWROOM

Macintyres spacious 3,000 sq ft showroom, located on Frederick Street in the heart of Edinburgh, was specially designed by its owners, Steve and Gaynor Turner, to offer customers a luxurious shopping experience. The showroom’s design was made to include maximum display space without feeling overcrowded. As a result, we are able to beautifully display about two thirds of our vast collection.

We have such a huge range of stock that we cannot possibly display every single gorgeous piece. If you don’t see what you are looking for, always ask one of our friendly staff members. It’s likely we have what you’re looking for behind the counter!

One of our favourite features of our showroom is the diamond dome, a huge 35 foot wide glass dome that floods our diamond display area with gorgeous natural light.

Bright enhancing lights in a jewellery store can sometimes make an item appear as if it has more sparkle than it really does. At Macintyres, our diamonds are such high quality that they don’t need to be enhanced by special lighting. When a diamond leaves our showroom, it will always look just as stunning as it did in the store.

Macintyres of Edinburgh Showroom

Many of our staff members have worked at Macintyres for many years and consider the showroom a second home. We made sure to create a space that enables our team to be safe and productive. For example, the area behind the counter is large enough for staff members to easily pass one another while carrying large trays full of stock.

We also have numerous work benches behind the counter that are shielded from a customer’s line of vision. This allows staff members to ticket items, track orders and open mail without distracting customers or taking away from the showroom aesthetic.

Please enjoy browsing our website and remember this is only a fraction of the items available in store.
